# Gift cards

> Redeem a code and add credits to your account.

## Redeeming a code

Go to your dashboard and find the coupon box at the bottom of the balance card. Enter the code and
click **Redeem**.

The credits are added straight away as a granted bucket, described as a code top-up.

## Redeeming from a link

The code box can be pre-filled from the URL, using `?code=`, `?coupon=`, or `?giftcard=`. If you have
been sent a link with a code in it, the field is already filled when the page opens.

## When redemption fails

| Message                                       | Means                                            |
| --------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| The code does not exist or is no longer valid | Wrong code, or it has been withdrawn |
| The code has been fully used | Its total number of redemptions has been reached |
| Already redeemed | You have used this code before — one per account |
| The code has expired | Past its expiry date |

## Top-up packages

The balance card also sells credit packages directly:

| Package | Credits | Price |
| ------- | ------- | ----- |
| 10 USD  | 3,000   | \$10  |
| 30 USD  | 9,000   | \$30  |
| 100 USD | 30,000  | \$100 |

All three are the same rate — there is no bulk discount built into the packages themselves. The
discount comes from your plan instead: **WJI VIP takes 20% off and WJI SVIP takes 30% off** credit
top-ups. Account group and account-specific arrangements can also apply a discount. Whichever applies
shows as a label on the package.

<Tip>
  If you buy credits regularly, the recharge discount can matter more than the monthly allowance. At
  30% off, an SVIP subscription pays for itself on roughly \$130 of top-ups a month.
</Tip>

Checkout is handled by Stripe, in US dollars. That is the only payment provider.

<Note>
  There is no "my gift cards" page. Redeemed codes do not appear in your wallet records as gift-card
  entries — you see the resulting credit bucket instead.
