# Subscriptions

> Plans, what each includes, and how to change yours.

Open **Subscribe** from your profile menu. A toggle at the top switches between **Monthly** and
**Yearly**, and yearly carries a **Save 16%** badge.

The two benefits that are easy to miss are at the bottom of the list.

    VIP takes **20% off** credit top-ups and SVIP takes **30% off**. If you buy credits regularly,
    this is worth counting alongside the monthly allowance when you compare plans.

    Paid plans unlock the **virtual humans** in the Seedance series and the **1080p and 4K** video
    models. On Basic those models are simply not in your list.

## Subscribing

Choose Monthly or Yearly, then click **Upgrade to WJI VIP** or **Upgrade to WJI SVIP** and complete
checkout. Your current plan's card shows **Current Subscription** instead of an upgrade button.

## Yearly credits arrive monthly

A yearly subscription does not deposit twelve months of credits at once. They are issued **month by
month** across the year.

## Cancelling

From your dashboard, the membership card has a **Cancel subscription** button.

Cancelling stops the renewal, not the subscription:

* You keep your benefits **until the end of the period you have paid for**
* Credits already issued **remain valid**
* **No refund is issued** for the remainder of the period

## Changing plan

<Warning>
  **There is no upgrade or downgrade path.** While you have an active subscription, subscribing to a
  different plan is refused with a message saying you are already a member.

  To move between VIP and SVIP: cancel, wait for the current period to end, then subscribe to the
  plan you want.

This applies in both directions, and the button on the plan card will report the error rather than
completing.
