# Node types

> What each of the fourteen node types holds and what you can do with it.

## Media nodes

    An image asset, or a generation node producing one. The richest toolbar on the canvas: crop,
    clarity, image editing, storyboard tools, generation presets, history, describe, save to
    library, download.

    A video asset. Trim, capture a frame, regenerate a section, switch preview between original,
    segment, generated, and stitched, add to the director bar.

    An audio file. Trim, generation history, describe, download.

    A 360° image. Double-click or use the toolbar to open the panorama viewer.

## Content nodes

| Node        | Holds                                      | Notable actions                                                                                                                      |

| **Text**    | Markdown                                   | Double-click to edit, AI assistant, import a document, download as Markdown, plain text, or Word, resize the window with `[` and `]` |
| **Table**   | Rows and columns with field mapping        | Edit the table, AI assistant, map which column is text and which is the prompt, re-upload                                            |
| **YouTube** | A YouTube link, embedded                   | Paste a URL to create one. AI assistant produces summaries, rewrites, and scripts as text nodes                                      |
| **Dataset** | A workspace dataset                        | Switch between asset view and content view, create images or video from it, upload, download, storyboard tools                       |
| **Bundle**  | Several media items gathered by connection | Download, preview, storyboard tools. Members can be disabled, reordered, renamed, removed                                            |

## Structure and annotation

| Node          | Purpose                                                                                                      |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Group**     | A visual container drawn behind everything else. Dragging it moves the nodes it touches. Cannot be connected |
| **Title**     | Large text that resizes its box to the font size                                                             |
| **Comment**   | A sticky note                                                                                                |
| **Task list** | A checklist with add, delete, and tick                                                                       |
| **Arrow**     | Two draggable endpoints                                                                                      |

The last four are collectively **annotations**. They share foreground and background color controls,
and viewers can be allowed to add them without being given edit rights. See

  Group nodes always render beneath other nodes, and cannot take part in connections. They organize
  space; they do not carry meaning into generations.
