# Supported file types

> Accepted formats and size limits for uploads and references.

## Upload size limits

## Reference video

Reference video has tighter limits than a plain upload, and they depend on length.

<Warning>
  If WJI cannot read a video's duration, the size limit drops to **50 MB** regardless of how long the
  clip actually is. Re-encoding usually fixes it.

Accepted video extensions: `mp4`, `mov`, `webm`, `m4v`, `mkv`, `avi`. Reference video specifically
accepts **MP4 and MOV**.

## Reference images

| Constraint         | Value                           |

| Maximum per image  | 20 MB on Vertex-protocol models |
| Count              | Set by the model                |

## Reference audio

Requirements vary by model. Seedance models expect between **1.8 and 15 seconds**.
