# Viewer access

> Control what viewers can see and do, down to individual apps and canvases.

Viewers get read-only access by default, but you can narrow it further. Open
**Settings → Members → Viewer permissions**. Only the workspace owner sees this panel.

It has four sections.

## Credit visibility

A single toggle. When it is off, viewers do not see the credit badge in the app bar or any spend
figures. Turn it off when you are sharing work with a client and do not want costs on screen.

## Visible apps

Tick the apps viewers may open. Anything you untick disappears from their left panel.

  If you hide the Infinite Canvas from viewers, they are told the app has not been added rather than
  seeing an empty panel.

## Comments and likes

Two toggles controlling whether viewers can leave comments and likes on assets. Both are off unless
you enable them.

## Visible canvases

The most granular section. You choose:

* **Which canvases** viewers can open, one by one
* **Which color tags** are visible — nodes carrying a hidden tag do not appear
* **Whether viewers may add annotations** — title, comment, task list, and arrow nodes

Color tags make this genuinely useful. Tag your work-in-progress nodes with one color, expose only
the approved color to viewers, and a client sees a clean board while you keep working around them.

## What a viewer actually sees

When viewer restrictions apply, WJI strips the interface down:
