Credits are WJI’s unit of spend. Every generation costs credits, and the amount depends on the model and what you asked it to produce.

Where credits come from

Credits arrive in separate buckets, and the buckets have different expiry dates.

The order credits are spent in

Credits are not spent oldest-first. WJI spends the bucket that expires soonest, and among buckets that never expire it spends granted credits before purchased ones.
This works in your favour — expiring credits get used before they are lost — but it does mean your purchased balance can sit untouched while granted credits drain.

Estimate, before you commit

The generate button carries an estimated cost, recalculated as you change the model, prompt, ratio, batch size, duration, or references.

Deduction, on submit

Your balance drops immediately so you can see where you stand. For models billed by actual duration, nothing is deducted up front — the charge waits for the result.

Settlement, on completion

Once the result exists, WJI knows the real duration and settles the true cost. The history entry then shows the actual credits charged.

Refunds on failure

A failed generation is refunded. In a batch, the refund is proportional — five clips requested, two failed, two clips’ worth comes back. Refunds appear against the original charge in your records.
This applies to the generation pipeline. In Digital Host, failed generations are still charged and counted in the program’s credit total.

Where to see your balance

Inside an organization, the badge shows your spendable allowance there rather than your personal wallet.

Workspace limits

A workspace can carry a total and a monthly spending cap. Hitting one stops generation with a message saying the workspace has reached its total or monthly limit.
For features where the cost cannot be estimated in advance, such as streaming chat, a workspace that has spent exactly its limit cannot start new work — it does not need to exceed it.
