The file tree in the left panel is where you organize. Right-clicking is where most of its power is.

General actions

Right-click any idea or folder: The six system folders — story, character, location, prop, shot, other — cannot be renamed, deleted, or copied.
The file tree has no search box. Use folders and tags to keep things findable.

Right-click AI shortcuts on a screenplay

This is the part worth knowing. Right-clicking an idea offers AI actions based on its type.
  • Summarize all characters
  • Summarize all locations
  • Summarize all props
  • Generate storyboard
Each reads the whole document and produces the corresponding set of ideas in one pass.
All of these open Build with AI with the outputs preselected and the idea you right-clicked set as the reference. You still review everything before it is saved.
This is usually the fastest route into a new project. Paste your script into a Story idea, then right-click it and summarize characters, locations, and props in three passes. You end up with a populated workspace in a couple of minutes.

Downloading

Download assets gathers every image and video under the selected node into a ZIP, keeping the folder structure. On a folder it takes everything beneath it; on a single idea it takes just that idea’s attachments.
